I didn’t always have this business.  I spent most of the parenting years tending to my family and working an 8-5 office job daily. But I've loved the creative process and making things with my hands for as long I can remember.

In 2012, I began making a few things and selling them as a much-needed therapeutic and creative outlet.  This renewed a passion and excitement in me, and others actually wanted the things I was making.  I found joy in connecting with other women, and loved that something as simple as a pair of handcrafted earrings could help them feel beautiful and uplifted.

After losing my brother unexpectedly in 2018, my whole perspective changed and I realized life was too short to not go after my dream of owning a small business. In January 2019 I made the leap into officially becoming Jenny Drake Designs, a handmade jewelry business.

What began as a journey out of depression and grief became a passion for connecting with women through handcrafted jewelry. Today, it is still the creative process, and inspiration from my customers that encourages my heart each day.

Each item is lovingly made with attention to detail and quality in my Georgia home studio.  I strive to operate on a “no-waste” business model as much as possible, and am intentional about producing only what I can realistically sell.
